two things

yes. two things to cheer about.


1. I am still kicking Jerk's ass - Karma will get you every time darlin.

and

2. I got the job. Yesterday was orientation - today is my first full day.


So, thank you to all of you who thought positive things for me - things were winding down quickly, last week was my last week of severance so timing couldn't have been better - I was thinking I was going to have to bite the bullet and stop being so selective about the jobs I was applying for and just take any job that came along. Thankfully - that doesn't have to happen now =)

Instead, I have a great job, in the field that I want to work in AND just in the nick of time. Amazing really how things work out sometimes =)

sit and wait ....

I went on two "second" interviews last week. I have already heard back from one... they decided to go with someone with "more" experience. Which actually, I find quite humorous since it is an entry-level position. Doesn't entry-level imply they want someone to learn the ropes and not necessarily have "more" experience.


However, the second "second" interview that I went on - went really well. It took place on Thurdsay. I can do this job, I have experience in all the areas they are looking for experience.

So my question to you is this: what do I do now? I sent off my thankyou cards to the two people I interviewed with. Do I wait? Or call? and if I call - when do I call.


What do I say?

Happy Belated Halloween.

I have to be honest with you guys. I have had a really hard time posting. I think that whole fiasco with Kaci and Mike sucked the enjoyment of blogging out of me. It really hurt my feelings and I guess, made me look at things a little differently.

I haven't really been up to that much, mostly suzy-homemaker kind of things, nothing really that interesting to write about, but that's not why I haven't been able to write on here lately. Lord knows I innundated you all with many boring stories before, so lack of something exciting to write certainly isn't the real issue.

Monkey has been at his new job now for about a week and I think he is starting to feel more comfortable.

I have a couple of interviews this week so hopefully one of them pans out.
